CHASSIS

Suitable chassis should have a total weight of 12-15 tons, wheelbase 4.7 m, air suspension front and rear, low-profile tires for better load angle and power take-off for direct-mounted pump. Gear ratio approx. 1:1.3.

FLAKES

BB 9111

The flat construction is straight. Sliding profile and flat surface are made of extra high-strength steel. The edge profile is made of stainless steel to prevent corrosion around the lashing holes. The bed can be hydraulically removed and pushed to facilitate unloading and loading of vehicles.

AUXILIARY FRAME AND TIPPING FRAME

The auxiliary frame of the recovery unit is made of square profile. The tipping frame is equipped with exchangeable sliding plates. The superstructure is mounted on the chassis according to the truck manufacturer's instructions.

LIFTING UNIT

BB 9110

The unit is made of extra high-strength steel and is operated hydraulically from a control cabinet. It is fitted with two separately operated outriggers with pilot controlled check valves. The support legs are widely spaced and equipped with a toothed ground plate. Dual lift cylinders with over-center valves. Powerful folding boom cylinder with a tilt force equivalent to 1,200 kg in the grill (innermost position). The recovery arm is lockable in three positions and equipped with a lifting yoke. Hard-to-reach lubrication points are moved to a more service-friendly location. Total extension length 425 mm.

BB 9153

Comprising parts are sandblasted, primed and finished in black (Ral 9005) all around for maximum rust protection. The extension parts and the lifting yoke are chromated.

After painting, the parts are reassembled on the chassis.

STORAGE SPACE

BB 9121

The cabinets are made of 3 mm cold-rolled stainless steel and have at least four separate compartments, one of which is for the control valve. The cabinets are lockable, have interior lighting and are prepared for the standard tools included in the construction. Interior and tool holder are made of stainless steel. The doors are made of stainless steel, rubber-sealed and have red reflectors on the inside.

WINCHES

Flat winch

BB 9120

A planetary gear winch with a pulling power of 3.8 tons is mounted on the flatbed. Break rollers near the lint drum. The line drum is pneumatically disengageable. The rope's diameter 10 mm and length 30 m with a breaking load of 5,940 kp.

Frame winch

The second winch has a pulling force of 6.0 tons and is mounted in the chassis frame. Breaker rollers in the rear edge of the unit. The line drum is pneumatically disengageable. The rope's diameter 13 mm and length 30 m with a breaking load of 11,900 kp.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

All electrical cables are protected against external influences according to protection standard IP50 (DIN40050). The electrical system is connected via fuses and relays which are placed in the cab. Original switch for the superstructure in the cab. The unit is equipped with an hour counter that indicates the time of use of the unit. The disengagement of the winches only works with the power take-off switched on. Side marker lights as required by law.
